My Portfolio

Hi everyone, so, I have reached that point in time where i require to put together a portfolio to get hired. I'm looking forward to working . . . mostly because I want to use super expensive super awesome software.

Now, everyone's first argument would be "but there are cracks!" Let me introduce you to the new world children. When showing your portfolio ANYWHERE, your work must be done exclusively on either licensed software or on the trial version.

So, disclaimer. Any and all work in this portfolio is mine (or done in collaboration with a team mate) and has been made using licensed software provided by srishti or using trial versions or student licenses of different softwares.

If anyone would like a content writer, you only have need to look at the top three posts on my blog and you can decide for yourself whether or not you like my writing skills!

The second item on the list is a stop motion that Riya Gupte and I, Anjali Shibu made. I also happened to do the sound design. I would say this would be under my list for an 'animation' portfolio. I'm providing a link here in case the video i post doesn't work.

The next two on the list are sadly going to have to be links, to what i would like to add in my portfolio as 'game and sound design'.

The first would be more game design. I call it "The all new SIM dating game", it's a text based adventure made on Twine. If you would like to look at it, I've provided a link to it, here. Note: please refresh the page the link sends you to, otherwise the game doesn't load.

The second would count as both game and sound design, and i call it "Cinnamon". This game is a visual novel made on Ren'py and if you'd like to play it, there's a link here. Note that Cinnamon needs to be downloaded before you can run/play it. It's about 130 MB. Here are a few screenshots of the game.

I'm afraid that I still haven't figured out how to add sound files on blogger, so anyone who would like to check out the sound design i've done will need to download the game.

Note: Ren'py and Twine are free softwares.

This is a model that I made on Maya, modeled in zbrush, painted in substance painter, made clothes for in marvelous designer, then finally rendered in keyshot.

The next item  and last item on the list for now, I would like to add as concept art or story art. These images were drawn by myself following the line of thought of 'what would a merfolk school look like?'

As I asked this question, i came to realize that mostly in movies or film etc, the most memorable mermaid is Ariel (the disney princess) and I can't seem to bring to mind any merman. The only merman i can recall ever being referred to is always Poseidon, never anyone younger. So, my vision was that any school of merfolk would have not just mermaids and mermen, but also different mer-races.

The idea, was that each mer-race represented in some way shape or form something we considered a 'disability' in today's world and show an image of all these merfolk being able to work together, in harmony and even studying without ever compromising education.

Here is one mer-race that i developed, based on lore from the Aztecs.

The next two images are what I'd like to imagine as the school life of the mer-folk.

So, if anyone wants to offer me an internship or a job, please contact me.
